One Tree Grill Restaurant

Yesterday, Tony brought me to One Tree Grill Restaurant to celebrate our 1st Anniversay. Both of us have agreed to go for a lunch instead of dinner as the weather has been wet these few days and it will be very cold at night for both of us.

It is a modern and upmarket restaurant. A beautiful and inviting restaurant for a small group gathering. The seating is laid out in a very classy, formal yet cosy manner. The service staff were friendly and professional.

The perfectly cooked food were plated beautifully. The restaurant has a great wine list and all aged and rare wines are kept in their temperature controlled underground cellar. Each meal has a recommended match of wines to go with.

We were offered a great table by the fireplace.

Mini Loaves

We had 2 mini loaves that came with Òriwa EV olive oil and butter to kick start our meals. We order "From the Grill" Menu. Tony had a Premium beef eye fillet with Truffled béarnaise sauce, while I ordered Soy and Lemon Marinated Chicken with Garlic and horopito butter sauce. On top of that, we ordered 3 sides dishes to share- Shoestring Fries, Mashed Potatoes and Steamed seasonal vegetables. We ended our meal with House made ice cream and sorbet.There were 2 sorborts- Pinapple and Rock Melon flavour.

I cannot fault my visit to this restaurant. Food was perfect, service was perfect and the seats were nice and comfortable . Tony And I have made a promise to come back next year for Anniversary.
