Milano Italian Restaurant @ Taupo

This is one of the worst restaurant I have experienced so far in New Zealand. We were at Taupo for a stopover while we were driving home for Wellington to Auckland. Called in at this restaurant for dinner.

We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main and a glass of white wine. Shortly, our appetizers-Garlic Bread and Calamari Cristo arrived. After we finished, Tony was not served with his glass of white wine. We called the waitress and asked for it, not apologetic at all she came back with the long waited white wine. After  we finished the appetizers, we chatted and kept looking at our watch, 40mins has passed then there was a group of 4 persons came in and seat at a table beside us. Their orders were taken, and about 15mins later they were served with their meals. I can't believe it, they came in later and they were served first. I called out to the waitress and asked where were our dinner? Again, the staff did not offer a word of apology and  said she will check it out for us. She went over to the counter area to check with her colleagues and we stood up too and walked to the counter area. They realised they did not put through our orders. How could this happened ? It was really ridiculous... If our order was not put through, then why did we received our garlic bread and calamari cristo in the first place.. Below were what we were served.....our main NEVER arrives.

We left at once......feeling disappointed and guttedwith the service.

Read the reviews of this restaurant when I came back and really this restaurant had a bad reputation. Service was really sucks ...you may want to read the reviews here before you decide whether to go...AVOID THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU CAN !!!
